The Last Witch Hunter

Warning: I am not sure I would consider my review of this film reliable.  That being said, you may want to rely on your own thoughts about it.  That is, I saw the movie in the theater, but it was not in a language I understood.  So, all I can tell you is that the film looked good.  I liken it to a modern day Conan the Barbarian.

   

The witches were not made to look like zombies, so you don’t have to worry about zombie exhaustion.  Instead, they went for the exorcist look.

If you’re up to seeing a (not so scary) film, yet you want to feel the spirit of Halloween, go see The Last Witch Hunter in the theater.  Otherwise, make it your 2^nd DVD pick.

Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials

The 100 + The Walking Dead + Giancarlo Esposito = Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.

That is all the information you need to motive you to purchase your movie theater ticket(s).  If you cannot make it to the cinema, make it your 1^st DVD pick and/or movie it to the top of your movie streaming queue.

Bridge of Spies

There is a great deal of intrigue and talk of about the U.S. constitution in this “historical” piece.  Tom Hanks does a great job (as always) keeping patron’s focused on the screen.

Due to the general nature of the subject matter, though, you may be better off watching this cerebral film on your sofa.  From your favorite spot you can pause it, think about what has transpired, and resume watching the film. 

That being said, take Bridge of Spies home as your 2^nd DVD pick.  Or, randomly add it to your streaming queue.
